Steady As She Goes

Today I finally made it to Sven's Cafe for the Men In The Morning group. Three of us showed up. I am glad I went. I was thinking up every excuse in the book not to go this morning. I made 2 new friends. It is going to be a commitment I'd like to keep. Accountability is a good thing. I need some more male friends. I have kind of walled myself in since I've been up here.
Things in the office are starting to finally ease up a bit. The group of guys at the ADP have been outstanding. We are almost finished with the old business. Today we actually closed 4 files after sending the cars to Ace Salvage. I let it be known that closing files is THE goal in the office.
Saturday is going to be a work day at Mercy Hill. I forgot to sign up but will let Kevin know I am going to be there. Another opportunity to stay plugged in. This whole "community" thing is tough for me up here ... why ? ... I dunno. It is by His grace alone that I stand OR fall. He is able. So am I through Him !
