The last 2 weeks have been like a whirlwind. I have been in Milwaukee WI assisting my Ma. On Tuesday the 5th they took her off the oxygen. She will be starting pulmonary rehabilitation in a few weeks. Oh yeah ... I forgot ... she is no longer, after 45 years, smoking cigarettes. Ma's heart is broken and she is not a candidate for surgery. In my opinion her physical condition is the least of my concerns. Ma doesn't have a personal relationship with the Lord. By God's grace I was able to hold my tongue while I was with her. She doesn't know it but she WILL be saved according to Acts16:31.
On Tuesday the 19th, 2008 I start my new position at Teen Challenge of Wisconsin. I will be working in the Social Enterprise Division of Teen Challenge in the Auto Donation Program. This will be a completely new venture for me. I get a glimpse of how Abram must have felt when God told him to leave Ur of the Chaldees. I hate to sound cliche but, If God brings me to it, He'll bring me through it. I am excited and nervous at the same time.
