The Refrigerator

I guess this is kinda weird but, Oh well. I've noticed the connection ... Our lives can resemble (not mine of course ! ... lol !) ... yes, ... a refrigerator. Generally speaking, the fridge is shiny and clean on the exterior. For those with OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder), appearances are all the hype and that fridge will always be shiny and spotless on the "Outside". The inside however, is another story. Just opening the door can be dangerous. What's interesting is that one can go into the "fridge" on a daily basis and know that something in there is rotting and just let it sit there. This is where the comparison comes into play. Many people, including, yes, Christians and non-Christians, alike worry about the external appearances ... while completely disregarding the rotting stench on the inside. Jesus was extremely hard on the "religious people" of His day because they were living a lie. They looked "shiny" on the outside but, they were "rotten" where it counted the most ... the heart. Now I don't claim to be perfect 'cause God knows that I ain't. One thing that I do is deal with the "issues" and "stinky stuff" on the inside.
