Today is the womens weekend # 10 for Tres Dias. I am gonna participate in my first Serenade tonite. I am going with CR and Wild Bill and John. I have been looking forward to participating something Tres Dias since I went to weekend # 9 back in April 2006. God did a much needed work in my life on that weekend. Looking back ... it all adds up ... God had left the 99 and went looking for the one ... and that one was me. I was looking for Him to do something that weekend but, I wasn't sure what to expect. There was a bunch of crap in there that I thought I'd dealt with ... bitterness, anger, rage and unforgiveness to mention a few. Well, God flushed the "toilet" and all that stuff went down the drain. I had been renewed and refreshed. I have a new vision as well. I am still the same 'ol guy but, I look at things a bit differently than i did back then.
I am where I am today because of what God did that weekend. I believe in my heart that w/o God's intervention that weekend ... I would have left Cape and gone back to Milwaukee. He knew what I needed and supplied the need.
