Friends Day

Today was friends day at Mercy Hill. I passed out the invite cards and passed out the email invites. I wasn't able to attend because I had to sell banquet tickets at Poplar Creek A/G. It was wonderful to see some old friends from when I went through Milwaukee TC back in the early 90's. I was able to spend a few moments with Jay Balistreri and his wife Michelle. I remember Michelle and her folks from Bay View A/G. After they got married they went to Bethel Tabernacle A/G in Wauwatosa. After Talking to Jay it all came back to me ... we used to clean Bethel on saturdays and it was also the first time I actually prayed for a whole hour. It took quite alot of focus to do so. Now an hour goes like that ... lickety split !
I got a good word from the Lord today ... sort of an awakening !
