Weeds

Friday, Yia Yia called me to come and pull some weeds. I told her that I can't. She gave me an attitude. I went over there sunday after church. It was a jungle of spotted spurge. It was an infestation like I've never seen. I started in the back of the house. Spotted spurge is particularly menacing if you don't pull it out by the tap-root. I got a whole 12' by 4' area done in four hours. It was miserable. I also got burnt to a crisp. I went back over there on monday and tuesday. Yia Yia fell on monday and had to get stitches. She broke her glasses and got a black eye to boot. Anyways, on tuesday I broke out the big guns ... Roundup. I pulled the bigger weeds and sprayed the smaller ones ... millions of them ! On the way home Ma called and said that the toilet was plugged. I ran over there and took care of it. I finally made it home at about ten. Today is wednesday ... get cars to the auction day ... anotherwords ... generally speaking ... a day of annoyance for me. We'll see. I met my new housemate on monday too. Seems like a good kid. He's the new youth pastor at Evangel. He seems to be high-maintenance. We'll see ? ...
