Do you ever Wonder Why ? ... I do all the time. More often than not God does not tell us why either. That's when I have to go to the Scripture. Jeremiah 29:11 which states "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." I do not have all the answers but I do know this:Whatever God allows is for our benefit. I was explaining to a friend last night that I thought I was going to be the next Director of St Louis TC. I am not in ST Louis. I still believe that He is preparing me for a directorship. If so ... cool if not ... I'm ok with that too. I once saw a video by James Dobson that explained God's will pretty good. It came from Psalm 119:105 'Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.' He went on to say that the light only illuminates the path directly in front of us. It doesn't show us far down the path. That is where the conflict sometimes lies. We are so much used to controlling our lives that when we surrendered to His plan, we gave up control. I know I struggle with that. That takes me back to Jeremiah. He is not going to harm me. I look back over the last two years and am amazed at what He has done in me, through me, and for me.
I may not like the pressure that I'm under but, it is for my good. A diamond is created through high pressure and temperatures. He is conforming me into the image of His son. I need to remember that.

..dear todd,--just wondering,..for any piece of musical melody..set to a particlar chord[say c major]for a length of,say, two measures[bars],can the bass line{on bass guitar}include the 9th or 11th or 13th note of the c major chord,or would it be technically incorrect?
..please xcuse the out of context-ness of the query, but if possible do post a reply and oblige,
ur's truly
There is no such thing as technically correct in my book.Dissonance is still harmony. Many people, however, are not accustomed to dissonance.
Why the anonymity ? ...
