The Last Chapter ...

... of Waukesha County Court System. I thought that I was going to get everything dropped today. That didn't happen. They read in the bail jumping on the condition that I would enter a plea on the restraining order deal. I could have plead not guilty and won. I had to consider the cost though. If I plead not guilty on the restraining order deal ... they would have prosecuted me on the bail-jumping charge. I could have done a maximum of 9 months. The judge could have sent me to jail either way. I chose to take that risk. I am obviously not in jail. I do, however, have a 575 dollar fine to pay. What's more important ? Proving your innocence at a definite cost of jail time or keeping my job and paying a large fine ? ...
I find that my trust must remain in Him and His vengeance. Dealing with this today has taken me through the whole range of emotions. I forgave those guys for the lies. Forgetting, on the other hand, is the hard part.
