Fines

Since I have been back I have been able to get all of my court obligations taken care of. The fines on the other hand are staggering. As of today I owe Waukesha County $1763.00. I called today to make a couple of payments. They moved the start date of the latest one to June. Totally cool. I made the last payment of $82.40. I have been paying on that one for a year. Ma told me today that she would pay everything off if I got my DL in WI. Nothing short of miraculous. Ma also told me today that she is putting my name and my uncle Peter's name on one CD account for 55 grand to take care of final expenses. Ma is getting her house in order so to speak. I am more concerned with her spiritual destination than any of the blasted money. My brother is no where to be found. I know where he is but he don't return calls or answer the phone. It's killing my Ma. Ma has been a great mom considering the situation. I don't have any complaints about my childhood. Ma did what she was supposed to do. The only thing she lacked was the Jesus factor. Not many people can make that claim ... my brother and I can. He just chooses to live in denial. I have only one choice but to hold on to Acts 16:31 believe on the Lord an be saved ... you and your household. And then Mark 9:24 Lord I believe, help thou mine unbelief. I like the KJV on the last one.
